On December 6th, 2019 we celebrated Finland’s 102nd year of independence at Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West. Guest of honor list included - Honorary Consul for North Texas and Oklahoma Kenneth Niesman, Honorary Consul for Oregon and a founding member of FABG Vesa Vihavainen, Director Scott Davis from Lockheed Martin and Head of Mobile Network Marketing Sandro Tavares from Nokia as our guest speaker. Finnish music was performed by Tiia Kunnari and Raine Partanen. Five high school seniors were awarded with Svinhufvud Scholarships and the night was finished with raffle and prizes donated by The Long Drink Company, F-Secure, Finnish Language School, Vesa Vihavainen, Mika Hirvilampi and Sami Simula. We thank all our guests for participation including all volunteers and event sponsors for the successful night!
