About The FACC North Texas
The Purpose of the Chamber is to develop, Encourage and foster trade, business, financial or professional interests and commercial relations between Finland and the North Texas (Dallas Metroplex) area enterprises.
To promote business and community growth and development of Finnish and Finnish-American owned business, and any North Texas based enterprise having activities in or with Finland.
To promote Programs, of civic, social, educational and cultural nature which are designed to increase awareness of the Finnish business community.
To promote expansion and growth of business between Finland and the North Texas area, not limiting it to the State of texas, and to do any and all acts of the foregoing purposes
The FACC North Texas - Dallas also aspires to reach out to other European Chambers of Commerce within Houston and across the US.
The FACC North Texas- Dallas is a membership driven, non-profit business association which is supported by a group of growth-minded Finnish and American companies, organizations and their leaders.
The FACC’s Members share a common interest in promoting bilateral business relations between Finland and United States in order to create new commercial opportunities benefitting both countries.

Mikko Vuojolainen is working for Robit rock drilling consumables company as Vice President, North America. In the past he has worked for Cargotec, an international cargo handling equipment company, in several senior management positions in USA, Singapore and Finland. He is a global business leader with expertise in business unit management, sales and service operations and strategic business development, including M&A. Mikko has lived in USA since fall 2000.

Kenneth Niesman
Ken has served the FABG board since 2006 and as The Honorary Consul of Finland for north Texas and Oklahoma since 2007. The President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö, recently awarded Ken a medal designating him a Knight First Class of the Order of the Lion of Finland. The Order of the Lion was established in 1942 by decree of the then President of Finland, Risto Ryti, to recognize outstanding civilian or military merit in service to the Republic of Finland.
Ken was a partner in the law firm of Gardere Wynne Sewell, LLP (now Foley & Lardner) for over 35 years where he practiced business and corporate law representing both US and European-based clients. During his tenure at the Firm, he served as head of the Business Law section and as the Firm's hiring partner.
