On June 22, 2020, President Trump issued an addendum to Presidential Proclamation 10014, effectively suspending entry of various non-resident alien visa categories. The full provisions of the Proclamation can be viewed on the White House website. This Proclamation follows the initial suspension on April 22, 2020.

 Quick facts:

 •This Proclamation took effect on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 and will be in effect until December 31, 2020, if not extended.

 •It covers the H-1B, H-2B, L and J visa categories (includes J-1 Interns and Trainees).

 •The Proclamation applies to new applicants and will not invalidate the current visas of current visa holders.
