MISSION STATEMENT

Created in 1896, The FACC has 2 principal missions:
· Promotion of the French American business community.
· Support of French and American companies.

We, The French-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States, are a bi-national, non-profit organization that seeks to contribute through the efforts of our chapters and members to the development and improvement of economic, commercial and financial relations between France and the United States.

To achieve this objective:

We will encourage the sale of goods and services between both countries and promote better international understanding.

We will provide information on the economy and business environment to French and American enterprises to help promote investment by commercial and industrial enterprises of each country in the other.

We will work with the various French and U.S. governmental and economic agencies, diplomatic and consular agents and other associations in France and the U.S. that pursue similar goals.

We are committed to providing the highest level of service to our members and representing the interest of the membership to external organizations.

We will facilitate the interaction among our membership to foster continuing good economic, commercial and financial relationships between France and the United States of America.

Besides, we also exist to offer networking opportunities to the local business community at large. We feel very strongly that creating personal contacts is vital to our success. To foster the dialogue between various businesses and sectors, we organize international networking events such as luncheons, business card exchanges, thematic business seminars, trade shows, etc.

Our members are businesses and people involved in French-American commerce or those who are very interested in both countries, products and culture. Professional and personal contacts are reinforced by frequent luncheons and seminars for our members. Our members also receive and have access to our local and national membership directories.
